  • nourish

Preparing nutritious meals, snacks and drinks to aid postpartum recovery. Think homemade energy balls and granola bars, lactation smoothies and hearty soups and stews. I can also offer a bespoke meal plan tailored to your dietary requirements, ensuring you get the nourishment you need.

  • nurture

Providing emotional support and creating a safe, nurturing space for you as you navigate the many emotions that postpartum life can bring. This could be an in depth birth debrief or listening to how you feel with a non judgmental ear.

  • newborn care

As well as looking after baby while you rest or take time for yourself, I provide guidance and reassurance on newborn care. This could be helping you wear a sling or carrier for the first time, give baby their first bath, trim their nails, or recommending remedies for various ailments. I can help answer any questions you have about you and your baby and signpost you to relevant resources when needed.

  • feeding

Infant feeding support and guidance, whether you are breast feeding, bottle feeding or both. This ranges from help with positions, guidance on pumping, or recommending a local lactation consultant to preparing and sterilising bottles and pumping equipment.

  • sleep

I provide overnight support up to three nights per week, to help you get the rest you need. During these sessions I will look after baby (either bottle feeding or bringing baby to you to breastfeed), changing, winding and settling baby to sleep.

  • organise

Organising baby’s items such as clothes, changing station, nursery etc. I can also help create a bespoke postpartum plan to help you prepare for your fourth trimester before baby’s arrival; from nursery organisation to meal planning.

  • empower

Providing evidence based information to empower you to make decisions that work for you; helping you to navigate the often conflicting advice that new parents are given and finding your way of doing things. I can also signpost you to local specialists and resources - for example a tongue tie specialist, physio or osteopath.
